Nymph O’ The Sea

Rosemary has been linked to love in Greek and Roman mythology, it is a symbol of
remembrance, protection, and magic. The Latin name “Rosmarinus” translates to “dew of the sea” and it is said that Venus rose from the waters draped in rosemary.

In a large wine glass combine the following:

  • ¾ oz Rosemary Syrup*

  • ¾ oz Fresh Grapefruit Juice

  • 4 oz Sparkling Italian Mineral Water

Add ice and stir before topping with

  • 2 oz Aperitivo Liqueur (suggestions: Sirene Americano, Aperol, Martini& Rossi Fiero)

Garnish with a grapefruit wheel and a rosemary sprig.

To make non-alcoholic, omit Aperitivo and add extra grapefruit juice.

*Rosemary Syrup: Bring 1 cup of water to a boil, remove from heat and steep 3
large rosemary sprigs for twenty minutes. Remove herbs and stir in 1 cup of sugar.
Store in fridge.
