Rosemary has been linked to love in Greek and Roman mythology, it is a symbol of
remembrance, protection, and magic. The Latin name “Rosmarinus” translates to “dew of the sea” and it is said that Venus rose from the waters draped in rosemary.
In a large wine glass combine the following:

¾ oz Rosemary Syrup*

¾ oz Fresh Grapefruit Juice
-
4 oz Sparkling Italian Mineral Water
Add ice and stir before topping with

2 oz Aperitivo Liqueur (suggestions: Sirene Americano, Aperol, Martini& Rossi Fiero)
Garnish with a grapefruit wheel and a rosemary sprig.
To make non-alcoholic, omit Aperitivo and add extra grapefruit juice.
*Rosemary Syrup: Bring 1 cup of water to a boil, remove from heat and steep 3
large rosemary sprigs for twenty minutes. Remove herbs and stir in 1 cup of sugar.
Store in fridge.
