The Butler Did It

Should you find yourself in need of liquor, we present to you this offering. Put comfort
in your cup.

In a mixing glass combine the following from the liquor cabinet in the library:
2 Dashes of Orange Bitters
½ oz Earl Grey Tea Syrup*
½ oz Cream Sherry
2 oz VS Cognac

Fill mixing glass with ice and stir. Strain into a Nick & Nora glass. Express the oils of
an orange twist over the top, discard the twist.

We would like to remind our audience that, once open, sherry is stored in the
refrigerator in the kitchen with the cook.

*Earl Grey Tea Syrup: Bring 1 cup of water to a boil, remove from heat and steep 4
Earl Grey Tea Bags for 3 minutes. Remove tea bags and stir in 1 cup of sugar. Cool
completely before storing in the refrigerator in the kitchen with the cook.
